What makes this Leadership Institute unique?
This is not a program. It’s a journey. The journey begins as soon as you register. The journey continues well after…As conveners we will provide minimal critical structure. You will be co-creating the experience as we explore other ways of thinking and learning together. The residential format offers opportunities for building a leadership learning community and going deeper. We are our own resources with and for each other.

The stakes in our work and world are high. Given that leading the way to the future is not about doing more of what we have always done, this is an innovative opportunity to discover what the world is calling you to do NOW.

What is going to happen at the Institute?
We will courageously explore burning questions and challenge current ways of being, thinking and doing. We will find ways to build a changing future, while cultivating resilience. We will embrace new findings on brain research and energy states.

How will the week be structured and paced?
The week is structured around individual, group and community conversations enhanced by other ways of knowing—art, nature, poetry and the like. There are opportunities for relaxation and reflection built in to the schedule. Click here to view the schedule

We will leave with practical strategies for leading forward in our lives, workplaces and communities. We are committed to ongoing learning.

What will my registration pay for?
Our venue, Shawnigan Lake School, is a pristine learning environment that combines a retreat setting with the opportunity to explore the local, environmentally friendly community. All meals, single accommodation, the special dinner, and materials are included. Once again a percentage of your registration fee will be allocated to the Summer Leadership Institute Scholarship fund to support our dream of sustainability.
